- Tab URLs and Titles: When you save a workspace, we store the URLs and titles of your
open tabs
- Workspace Names: Custom names you assign to your saved workspaces
- Workspace Metadata: Creation dates, last modified dates, and tab counts
- User Preferences: Settings and preferences you configure within the extension
2.2 Data We DO NOT Collect
Context Keeper does not collect:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)

- Browsing history outside of saved workspaces

Why we need it: Required to save workspace data locally on your device.

6.2 Tabs Permission
Why we need it: Required to access tab URLs and titles when saving workspaces, and to open
tabs when restoring workspaces.
How we use it: Only when you explicitly save or restore a workspace. We don't monitor your
tabs otherwise.
6.3 Side Panel Permission
Why we need it: Required to display the extension's interface in Chrome's side panel.
How we use it: To provide a better user experience by integrating with Chrome's UI.
7. Data Security
7.1 Security Measures
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Your data is protected by your device's security measures
- No data is at risk of server breaches or hacks
- No network transmission means no man-in-the-middle attacks
- You have complete control over your data
7.2 Your Responsibility
To protect your data:
- Keep your browser and extension updated
- Use a strong device password/PIN

To view your data: Open Context Keeper extension and browse your workspaces
To delete your data:
- Option 1: Delete individual workspaces within the extension
- Option 2: Uninstall the extension (removes all stored data)
- Option 3: Clear Chrome's extension storage data manually
9. Third-Party Services
Context Keeper does not use any third-party services. This includes:
- No analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
- No tracking mechanisms
- No external APIs
- No advertising networks
- No cloud storage services
The extension is completely self-contained and operates entirely offline.
10. Children's Privacy
Context Keeper does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child is using this extension, you can remove it from their
